Frequently asked questions
General
How long your evaluation is depends on how many rooms in the house you want evaluated. Any room can take between 1 - 5 minutes to measure depending on the layout and design. Our recommendation? Anything you think would add value to your home is something we want to hear about. Choose every room in the house, an entire floor, or a few select rooms. Our quotes are itemized. You can expect to spend:
Ø For a few select rooms: 45 minutes – 60 minutes
Ø For an entire floor: 60 minutes – 90 minutes
Ø For an entire house: 1.5 hours – 2.5 hours
Our evaluators will come inside the home, arrive prepared with paint wheels, a book of templates and design choices, and together, sit down and create a colour palette unique to your design and colour preferences. This will take up a large portion of the visit.
Our evaluators will also need access to any room in the house you want to include, for the purpose of measuring the walls and layout of the room to determine the exact size of the project and how much paint will be necessary to complete the project.
They may also ask you to open and close your curtains, or flip your light switches a couple times to access the lighting in each room!
